Love the podcast. I feel I’m a bit like Josh so I like the perspective. I have always enjoyed bird hunting and killed my first deer when ai was twelve. I lost touch with big game hunting until I had kids and want to pass it on to them. I realized that my dad taught me great things but did not have much strategy in his efforts so I feel like I am learning from the beginning.
Locating elk is obviously the hardest thing for me as well as escouting.
Living in AZ I see how much the game has changed. My dad used to get drawn every year for elk but wow is it different now and I question the ability to take my kids in the future with the amount of hunters.
